Brenig purchased the site, an old dairy in the village of Mochdre, with planning already agreed for a commercial industrial site. Units were finished to exact specifications to suit the individual needs of the businesses involved. Creating Enterprise and Cartrefi Conwy moved into two of the units, with Travis Perkins in another. We also moved into our own 3,500 sq ft HQ.
Brenig facilitated the full build from planning and design right through to handover, constructing a steel-framed building with external cladding and fitting-out the finished offices. We block-paved the site and carried out the hard and soft landscaping with our own plant and civil engineering capability. The site itself is just opposite a primary school in the middle of a residential estate, so we were mindful of planning deliveries around school drop-off and collection times, and keeping everyone informed of our schedules as the build progressed.
A modern business park consisting of six purpose-built units in an area of North Wales that has excellent links to the rest of the region and North-West England. The units are occupied by complementary businesses in high-quality office and warehouse space, creating a thriving business centre for the area and the wider region. Through our work with CE, the build also provided local jobs and training for previously unemployed tenants in social housing. As part of our commitment to benefiting the community, we carried out repair work on the school free of charge.
