The land, set in the heart of a desirable seaside town, was purchased by Brenig Homes who were awarded planning for the development. We were then contracted to construct 6 luxury two bed apartments and a penthouse, across 4 storeys. The site abutted existing residential properties on either side, with another side adjoining a public road and the rear of the site facing the sea.
Because of the dimensions of the site and the requirement for off-street parking, we built an underpass entryway from the front to the rear of the property, which gives access to parking at the rear, as well as underground parking space. We scheduled deliveries to avoid peak times of the day, due to the proximity to neighbouring residential properties. The nature of the site not allowing for storage meant materials had to be scheduled to coincide exactly with when they were needed for the build.
