TRI Phase 1 and 2

Targeted Regeneration Investment (TRI) aimed at improving the thermal standards of private dwellings, in a conservation area in Conwy.

About This Development

The project was part of a wider investment in the region, to improve energy-efficiency in conservation areas and was part-funded by the EU.

Client:

Conwy County Borough Council

Sector:

Housing Associations

Location:

Conwy, N. Wales

Service:

Planned Maintenance

How We Helped:

We repaired slates and fitted new windows, cleaning and repointing brickwork where required. We added external wall insulation, using a pioneering ‘brick-slip’ cladding by Weber.

The Impact & Results:

To help the local community get more from the work, we organised 2 litter picks in the area and arranged safe access to the scaffolding for residents. Due to the success of the project, we were subsequently engaged on TRI phases 3 and 4. Turning an initial £320,000 contract into more than £1 million of work, cementing our partnership with Conwy Council in the process.

All our spend to data has been with SME's which are based in North Wales
