Brenig Construction were delighted to sponsor the first ever Tŷ Gobaith Golf Day, hosted at the excellent Maesdu Golf Club which is just outside Llandudno. On the 12th of October 2017, there was an impressive turnout to enjoy a day on the fairway which was in aid of the children of Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith. It was an amazing day as well – with bacon baps and coffee on arrival, a shotgun start, nearest the pin as well as longest drive competitions, all on a world-class, 18-hole, championship golf course.

The day was finished off with a fantastic two-course dinner, a prize presentation, as well as a raffle and an auction in the evening. The first ever Tŷ Gobaith Golf Day was a lot of fun for all who attended. We were absolutely delighted to team up with Maesdu Golf Club in order to assist in raising funds for Tŷ Gobaith – a charity which provides what we believe is a true asset to the North Wales community.

Tŷ Gobaith is a children’s hospice which provides all manner of care to children and their families which live throughout the North Wales area. Tŷ Gobaith provides respite care, home nursing, end of life care, palliative care, as well as other therapies to babies, children, and young people with life-threatening conditions, conditions were premature death is inevitable, progressive conditions, and irreversible but non-progressive conditions which cause severe disability.

Tŷ Gobaith also provides support to the families of these children, with antenatal and neonatal support services, bereavement support, sibling support and so much more. The facilities are Tŷ Gobaith is a home from home – offering stunning views of the Conwy estuary, alongside much-needed peace and tranquility for all who use the four children’s bedrooms and three family rooms within. We were utterly thrilled to sponsor Maesdu Golf Club’s Golf Day, and very pleased to announce that it was a huge success. The Golf Day raised a phenomenal amount – over £6500 – for Tŷ Gobaith, to assist the hospice in providing this much-needed service to the North Wales community.

Brenig Construction are looking to work alongside Tŷ Gobaith in supporting the charity in the future with all its fantastic work it does for families from across North Wales.
